Commission: Citizenfour

Citizenfour is a 2014 documentary film about Edward Snowden as the whistle-blower to the NSA Spying Scandal. The film is directed by Laura Poitras.

 This documentary is absolutely brilliant, filmed with no reconstruction or commentary it puts the audience in the room and in the mind of Edward Snowden. We follow his journey and see his side of the story as he uncovers the infamous spying scandal.

The documentary makes you think more about whether we are being watched at all times and monitored on a screen by governing bodies all over the world. It questions our right to privacy and whether we, the common public are allowed to be left alone and not monitored at all times.

It is an absolute must watch and a serious eye opener.
