After many difficulties with organizing we Alex and I decided it would be best to see if we can find anyone else to interview from a senior position within the Rugby community. It was a long shot but I got in touch with one of my old rugby coaches to hopefully schedule an interview. Luckily enough for us he was available and now our documentary is hopefully back on track.
Roger McKerlie has had quite the rugby history, coaching a very successful Sevenoaks u18 side from birth to the Semi-Finals of the National cup, playing himself for more years than I'm sure he will care to mention and recently becoming Director of Rugby at the club itself. His distinguished career at the club has done it wonders and turned it into a strong community and made Sevenoaks RFC a prime example of what rugby is all about.
After spending a large portion of our time catching up, we eventually got around to filming and found interview to be incredibly beneficial. We got a lot of solid footage in which the audio and visuals are very good. Aside from the interview we got some good footage of the club which will make for good cutting footage during the interview.
I would like to personally thank Roger for making the time to see us in such short notice and personally commend Sevenoaks RFC as a welcoming, helpful and friendly club to be a part of.
