Directions Unit: Final Idea for Title
I have had a great deal of difficulty in deciding what the name of my film should be. At first I went with "Three's a crowd" but this did not sit well with me from the moment I wrote it down or said it aloud and as Simon pointed out it really doesn't resemble the kind of title Scorsese would pick.
Looking at most of Scorsese's film they either describe the character or the situation in which the story is set around. For example:
- Goodfellas
- The Wolf of Wall Street
- Mean Streets
- The Aviator
- The Departed
With this in mind I needed to choose a short and underlining tittle which would allow the audience to quickly identify what the film is going to be about which is why I have chosen to name my film...

The Amour
The simplicity and straight to the point description of the film's story shows itself as a good Scorsese title and one that I am finally happy with.
