A Picture of a Happy Man... Finished Product!

After finishing my rough cut I was left with a few things I needed to tighten up, alter and scrap.

I decided to touch up the confrontation scene by including a few more shots just to tie it together better.

I also had problems with lens flare and water on the lens which i tried to eradicate by instead of making a colour film turning all to black and white. While this did look brilliant on a few scenes the issue of lens flare and water droplets was not resolved and proved more of an issue when put in black and white so i decided to keep the film in colour.

Another problem I had was that all the shots i filmed were outside and i had a serious problem with background noise and when shots were taken and edited together the sound was all over the place, but i managed to sort this with what I learned in the workshop for final cut . I simply applied the background noise in one scene to all scenes so that the sound and image flow much better.

I did manage to reduce the intensity of the lens flare and water on the lens by playing with the colour and contrast settings to give my film a bright and happier look which tied in well with what my story is about. However, I took these mistakes as learning curves and I will make sure in the future to take steps to prevent this happening again by using the eyepiece more in situations where I can't see the screen very well and close the lens flap when I finish filming each shot.

Well here it is, please take the time to view...
