Commission: Sports Life Stories - Jason Robinson

This recent documentary series 'Sports Life Stories' focuses on famous sports men and women and their lives inside and outside of sports, understanding their background and their feelings during their lives highs and lows.

This episode focus on, in my view, one of the best rugby players the sport has ever produced. Jason Robinson, ex Rugby League and Union international and British & Irish Lion, spoke about his life from the dark days of his youth to finding religion and his incredible relationship with Va'aiga Tuigamala or 'Inga the Winger' and also his feelings towards rugby and winning the World Cup in 2003.

The documentary is very effective at drawing the audience in and a few of my friends, who share as little interest to rugby as I do football, spoke to me about the Doc and how much they enjoyed it. It includes no outside narration just Jason speaking about each event paired perfectly with archive footage and reconstructed by returning to the location years after.

This is a solid documentary and recommend others to watch it as it effectively and simplistically displays this incredible sportsman's life. Doc below.
